Frequently Asked Questions
How to choose proper infrared detector resolution?
It depends on actual needs and applications, with price being an important factor. For lower image quality requirements, choose detectors with resolutions like 120x90, 640×512, or 400x300. For very clear images in special applications like remote monitoring, choose high-resolution detectors of 1280x1024.
How to select right pseudo color for thermal imaging?

• Gray white is more suitable for targets with small temperature differences

• Red and blue is more suitable for scenes where problem points need to be identified

• Iron red is the standard color palette for the power industry

Note: The thermal temperature remains unchanged regardless of which palette you choose.

How to choose a suitable infrared thermal camera lens?

• Standard lens: Suitable for normal targets at appropriate distances

• Telephoto lens: Suitable for relatively small targets viewed from long distances

• Wide angle lens: Better for seeing more detail of objects at close distances

• Macro lens: For viewing very tiny targets at close distances, such as chip circuits
