Product Description
Fully Optimized SWaP-C Uncooled Microbolometer Camera Detector 1280×1024/12μm
Product Overview

The Apex1212W Wafer Level Packaging thermal imaging detector is developed by SensorMicro. Wafer level packaging (WLP) is the process of completing high vacuum packaging directly on the entire MEMS wafer, then scribing and cutting to make a single infrared detector.

The Apex1212W is a 1280×1024 resolution, 12μm pixel size and low SWaP-C uncooled LWIR detector. Due to its miniature size, lightweight and low power consumption, Apex1212W uncooled thermal detector can be widely used in many new emerging markets like consumer electronics.

We are an OEM infrared detectors & thermal imaging camera module manufacturer. It's easier for WLP thermal detectors to be integrated into more terminal products and greatly reduces the cost for customers.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. In which industries are focal plane array infrared detectors used in?

Infrared focal plane detector is the core component of thermal imaging system, and is the key to detect, identify and analyze infrared information of objects. It has a wide range of applications in traffic, inspection, security monitoring, meteorology, medicine and other industries.

2. What are the characteristics of cooled & uncooled infrared focal plane detector?

Infrared focal plane detectors can be divided into cooled infrared focal plane detector and uncooled infrared focal plane detector. Cooled infrared detector works at a low temperature vacuum environment with high sensitivity and can distinguish more subtle temperature differences, while uncooled infrared focal plane detector does not need a cryogenic environment and can work at room temperature.
