The Apex612W uncooled thermal imaging detector is engineered for optimized SWaP-C (Size, Weight, Power, Cost) performance. Featuring a 640x512 resolution with 12μm pixel size, this LWIR infrared detector captures the long-wave infrared spectrum ranging from 8 to 14μm.
With high resolution and reduced pixel size, the Apex612W FPA infrared detector delivers superior thermal imaging quality with up to 327,680 pixels. The larger array provides more detailed images to meet the requirements of higher resolution and wider field of view applications.

Infrared thermal imaging system is a passive non-contact detection and identification of infrared technology. It focuses the infrared radiation of the scene on the focal plane array infrared detector through the infrared optical system that can pass through infrared radiation. The thermal detector converts the radiation signal of different intensity into the corresponding electrical signal, and then through amplification and video processing, forms the infrared image that can be observed by the naked eyes.
