The IR522-WM is a kind of handheld uncooled thermal binocular that could work at night or bad weather condition for search and surveillance purpose.
It integrates infrared camera, visual camera, laser rangefinder, positioning, digital compass and memory module. Users could carry out long range missions, like scout, target range finding, target positioning, etc.

Compared with thermal imaging binoculars, night vision binoculars are much cheaper.
Thermal imaging binoculars collect infrared radiation and turn it into a thermogram. They don’t rely on light and nor emit infrared ray actively.
