Uncooled Thermal Imaging Binoculars with Laser Rangefinder

Product Description

IR522-WM is a multi-functional handheld uncooled thermal binocular with continuous optical zoom designed for dynamic environments, such as ranging from moving platforms and/or ranging moving targets. The thermal imaging binocular integrates both infrared camera and visual camera for precise, real-time measurement for greater reliability. 
Its infrared camera offers clear temperature data with uncooled 640x512 MWIR focal plane array infrared detector and field of view ranging from 2.33°×1.86° to 7.42°×5.35°.
This thermal imaging binocular is able to locate target in daylight and at night and has a high performance laser rangefinder that ensures accurate location of target, even in poor weather conditions.

1.Thermal imaging binoculars vs. night vision binoculars


Compared with thermal imaging binoculars, night vision binoculars are much cheaper.


Thermal imaging binoculars collect infrared radiation and turn it into a thermogram. They don’t rely on light and nor emit infrared ray actively. They can be effective in day and night which has poor light conditions or total darkness and even in harsh environments such as rain, snow, dust and haze etc.


While night vision relies on visible light. They collect ambient light, moonlight or starlight and amplify it to detect targets in the dark. They cannot be used during the day, because they maybe damaged. And also they cannot see through bushes, smoke, fog or rain.
