The GDES-300F20 airborne 2-axis multi sensors observation pod adopts a spherical stable platform with a diameter of 280mm. It is equipped with a 1080P low-illuminance visual camera, a cooled infrared camera and a laser rangefinder.
The electro-optical payload is integrated with the cooled MWIR focal plane array 640x512/15μm infrared sensor, making it perfect for detecting heat sources, law enforcement, search and rescue, day and night surveillance etc.
The pod weighs less than 20KG and is suitable for small and medium-sized UAVs to search and observe targets. It has the functions of target positioning and geographic guidance based on the aircraft information.
