Ultra Clear 1280x1024 12μm Cooled Thermal Module for Long Range Monitoring
GAVIN1212 high resolution thermal camera module integrates the large array 1280x1024 / 12μm MWIR cooled infrared detector with the detector dewar cooler (ddc) inside. It is widely used in the security monitoring applications such as fire prevention, harbour protection, investigation, remote surveillance, border guard and the protection of critical infrastructure and can be mounted on platforms such as security cameras, airborne pods, vehicle turrets etc.
The high resolution thermal module adopts various intelligent image processing algorithms, such as non-uniformity correction, auto gain control, and others to ensure good thermal imaging quality. With rich interfaces, small size, high reliability and strong expansibility, its module design facilitates end user to start fast integration. This infrared camera module supports 24/7 surveillance regardless of weather, adverse ambient conditions or poor visibility.
GST cooled uncooled infrared detectors and thermal imaging modules can be widely used and integrated into security monitoring systems, such as smart city road traffic monitoring for improving the efficiency and safety of transport networks, infrastructure monitoring, fire security in the industrial areas, early fire detection for open areas or even over long distances, harbor protection, border security for preventing illegal border crossing, perimeter surveillance, maritime cruising, UAV payloads, electro optical system etc.

It can be integrated into Border Security Systems, Electro Optical Infrared Systems, UAV Payloads, Shipborne Systems etc.
1. What is infrared thermal imaging?
Infrared thermal imaging is a method of using infrared radiation and thermal energy to gather information about objects, in order to formulate images of them, or get temperature information of the objects, even in low visibility environments.
2. How does Infrared Thermal Imaging Work?
Infrared thermal imaging system is a passive non-contact detection and identification of infrared technology. It focuses the infrared radiation of the scene on the focal plane array infrared detector through the infrared optical system that can pass through infrared radiation. The thermal detector converts the radiation signal of different intensity into the corresponding electrical signal, and then through amplification and video processing, forms the infrared image that can be observed by the naked eyes.
