TIMO120 Uncooled Thermal Core

Compact Uncooled Longwave 120x90 / 17μm Infrared Thermal Camera Core for Emerging Markets

Product Description

TIMO120 thermal imaging module is radiometric-capable and has available infrared non-contact temperature measurement function. It integrates 120x90 / 17μm wafer level package (WLP) infrared detector and basic image processing circuit to quickly obtain thermal images of the target area and heat distribution.

Compared with traditional temperature measuring tools, the TIMO120 infrared thermal core has greater sensitivity than the common thermopile arrays during the epidemic prevention. Also by using wafer level packaging, TIMO120 thermal core is more affordable in the infrared imaging applications that need strict requirements on cost, size and weight.

FAQs

1. What is infrared thermal imaging?

Infrared thermal imaging is a kind of method which utilizes infrared radiation and thermal energy to gather information about objects. It converts invisible infrared radiation into visible infrared thermal image with temperature distribution of the target surface. Different objects and even different parts of the same object have different radiation ability and infrared reflection strength.

2. What can infrared imaging be used for?

-Night vision

-Search & rescue

-Non-destructive test

-Epidemic prevention

-Thermography

-Security & monitoring

-Firefighting

3. What is thermal imaging module?

A thermal imaging module usually consists of an infrared detector, infrared lens and hardware electronics with software and algorithm embedded. It is the minimum unit of a thermal imaging device.
