Product Description
High Frame Rate MWIR Thermal Imaging Module Cooled HOT 1024×768/10μm
Product Overview

The GAVIN GC1010HMG infrared camera core features a 1024×768, 10μm HOT medium-wave infrared cooled detector. Compared to the GAVIN GC615HMG, its larger FPA and smaller pixel architecture improve spatial resolution and detail visibility for clearer thermal imaging. Embedded next-generation image processing algorithms deliver steady, high-fidelity video streams.

Utilizing HOT technology for 150K high-temperature operation (cooldown time ≤ 4 min), the unit realizes excellent SWaP characteristics with physical dimensions of 87×94×54.5mm and a weight of only 460g. A comprehensive suite of digital interfaces including CameraLink, USB3.0, GigE, HDMI, SDI, MIPI and fiber optics is available, alongside configurable RAW/YUV video output.

Designed for seamless system integration, this core is well-suited for handheld devices, mobile payloads and continuous long-range monitoring missions with strict constraints on volume, weight and power usage.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is infrared thermal imaging?
Infrared thermal imaging is a method of using infrared radiation and thermal energy to gather information about objects, in order to formulate images of them, or get temperature information of the objects, even in low visibility environments.
In which industries are focal plane array infrared detectors used?
Infrared focal plane detector is the core component of thermal imaging system, and is the key to detect, identify and analyze infrared information of objects. It has a wide range of applications in traffic, inspection, security monitoring, meteorology, medicine and other industries.
What are the characteristics of cooled & uncooled infrared focal plane detectors?
Infrared focal plane detectors can be divided into cooled infrared focal plane detector and uncooled infrared focal plane detector. Cooled infrared detector works at a low temperature vacuum environment with high sensitivity and can distinguish more subtle temperature differences, while uncooled infrared focal plane detector does not need a cryogenic environment and can work at room temperature.
How to choose a suitable infrared thermal camera lens?
  • Standard lens can meet normal targets with appropriate distance
  • For the telephoto lens, it's suitable for targets that is relatively small and needs to be viewed from a long distance
  • To see more detail of objects at close distance, wide angle lens is better
  • Macro lens is for seeing very tiny target with close distance, such as chip circuit
