Product Description

1280x1024 12μm HD Thermal Module Core Long Range Detection

Megapixel Cooled Infrared Camera Core

Long Range Detection 1280x1024 / 12μm MWIR MCT Cooled Camera Module with 37.5~750mm Zoom Lens

Product Description

GAVIN1212 cooled infrared module is family member of Global Sensor Technology’s GAVIN series thermal imaging modules. It comes with a 1280x1024 / 12µm high resolution MCT MWIR IR detector with RS058F cryocooler, hardware electronics and various image processing algorithms are also embedded already to present sharp and clear thermal images.

With large array 1280x1024 resolution it can realize wider field of view and provide more image details. The reduced 12µm pixel size offer better spatial resolution and match shorter optical lens focus to achieve the same range mission. It is ideal choice for the EO-IR systems integrator to design their payload for air-borne or ship-borne applications.

Until now, we have provided our customers with various mature and stable infrared thermal imaging solutions. With this thermal camera core, it is easy for OEM customers to carry out fast acceptance test on GST thermal modules, start rapid secondary development and greatly reduce the cost of their development.

FAQs

1.In which industries are focal plane array infrared detectors used in?

Infrared focal plane detector is the core component of thermal imaging system, and is the key to detect, identify and analyze infrared information of objects. It has a wide range of applications in traffic, inspection, security monitoring, meteorology, medicine and other industries.

2. What are the characteristics of cooled & uncooled infrared focal plane detector?

Infrared focal plane detectors can be divided into cooled infrared focal plane detector and uncooled infrared focal plane detector. Cooled infrared detector works at a low temperature vacuum environment with high sensitivity and can distinguish more subtle temperature differences, while uncooled infrared focal plane detector does not need a cryogenic environment and can work at room temperature.
