Product Description
LWIR Thermal Imaging Module with 1280x1024/8μm Infrared Detector
Product Overview

The TWIN612 thermal module is a newly developed product by SensorMicro, integrating a 640*512/12µm ceramic package uncooled infrared detector. With typical NETD <40mK, the TWIN612 thermal module delivers clearer, sharper, and more detailed thermal imaging.

Featuring a temperature measurement range of -20℃ to 150℃/0 to 550℃, accuracy of ±2℃ or ±2%, and frame rates up to 30Hz, this thermal module ensures smooth thermal imaging and precise temperature measurement.

The compact design, lightweight structure, and low power consumption of only 0.8W make the TWIN612 thermal module ideal for applications with strict size, weight, and power requirements. Enhanced image algorithms and temperature measurement functions provide stable images and accurate temperature data.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Infrared Detector Resolution

This refers to the number of pixels in thermal imaging. Higher resolution means more observation and temperature measurement points, allowing observation and measurement of smaller targets at longer distances. Typical infrared thermal imaging resolutions range from 256x192, 384x288, 640x512, 800x600, 1024x768, to 1280x1024. Higher resolution detectors typically come with increased costs.

2. Field of View (FOV)

Field of View (FOV) refers to the two-dimensional field of view of the object space observed by the optical system of an infrared thermal imager. Taking horizontal FOV as an example, assuming the detector array size is A*B, pixel size is d, and lens focal length is f, then the horizontal FOV angle θ=2*acrtan (A*d/2f). After selecting the detector array and pixel size, the field of view changes only with the focal length of the optical system: longer focal length results in a narrower field of view, while shorter focal length provides a wider field of view.
