1280x1024 Cooled IR Detector,
HD Cooled IR Detector
HD Mid Wavelength 1280x1024 / 12μm MCT Cooled Infrared Detector for Clear Thermal Imaging
C1212M MWIR is one of the HgCdTe/MCT cooled mid wavelength infrared detector developed by Global Sensor Technology (GST). It is a combination of high definition, high performance and high reliability.
The C1212M MWIR MCT Cooled Infrared detector offers four times as many pixels in the same active image area as conventional 640x512 products. With large array 1280x1024 resolution it can realize wider field of view and provide more image details. The reduced 12µm pixel size offers better spatial resolution and match shorter optical lens focus to achieve the same range mission.
C1212M MWIR HgCdTe infrared detector is an ideal choice for thermal imaging applications that require superior long range performance and image details recognition in a low size, weight, and power package.
Global Sensor Technology is a supplier of infrared detectors sensors and OEM thermal camera cores. We have more than 10 years of experience in the infrared thermal imaging industries. We have professional after-sales service team to provide customers with professional reply. For any questions or problems, please contact us at any time, we will be in the first time for you to answer.

1. What is infrared thermal imaging?
Infrared thermal imaging is a method of using infrared radiation and thermal energy to gather information about objects, in order to formulate images of them, or get temperature information of the objects, even in low visibility environments.
2. What is MCT/HgCdTe detector?
MCT, also called HgCdTe, refers to Mercury-Cadmium-Tellurid which is a chemical compound of cadmium telluride (CdTe) and mercury telluride (HgTe) and a common material in photodetectors. MCT/ HgCdTe detector is a photoconductive detector that operates at a cryogenic environment and can detect infrared radiation. It is more sensitive than the thermal sensors.
3. What can infrared imaging be used for?
-Search & rescue
-Security & monitoring
