Uncooled LWIR 640x512 / 12μm Infrared Thermal Security Camera Module with Multiple Lenses
The MICO612 thermal module is specially designed for security and surveillance monitoring cameras. By integrating this module, security cameras can sense an object's heat radiation and capture images 24/7, regardless of environmental factors such as darkness, low light, strong backlight, etc.
The integration of our uncooled infrared camera core with 640x512/12μm into security monitoring systems offers numerous benefits. It enables identification of potential threats in complete darkness, provides early detection of abnormal temperature patterns, and enhances situational awareness in various environments. Whether securing critical infrastructure, monitoring large-scale industrial facilities, or maintaining public safety, our solution delivers unmatched performance and reliability.
- Mainstream Compatibility, Cost-Effective: Equipped with self-developed mainstream 640×512/12μm wafer-level infrared detector, allowing wide adoption. Integrated with a dedicated ASIC chip for high energy efficiency.
- Optimized SWaP Design: Sectional dimension: only 22.2×22.2×27.2mm (excluding lens). Weighing just 30.3±2g. Low power consumption: 680mW.
- Easy Development & Quick Integration: Native analog video or digital video output, supporting both CVBS/USB/MIPI standards—no additional development required. Easy mounting with minimal structural design effort.

In nature, all objects whose temperature is higher than absolute zero (-273℃) can radiate infrared rays. By using the infrared camera detector to measure the infrared radiation temperature difference between the target itself and the background, you can get different infrared images, which are also called thermal images.
Infrared radiation emitted by targets enters the sensing range of the thermal detector. The infrared detector converts the radiation signal of different intensity into corresponding electrical signals, and then through amplification and video processing, forms infrared images that can be observed by the naked eye.
The cooled infrared focal plane detector operates at a low temperature provided by a detector dewar cooler (DDC). It has high sensitivity and can distinguish more subtle temperature differences than uncooled infrared detectors. It can detect, identify and recognize objects at very long ranges of more than ten kilometers away. The structure of cooled detectors is complex, resulting in relatively higher costs than uncooled detectors.
