The MICO612 uncooled infrared camera core features a 640x512/12µm uncooled thermal camera sensor that delivers clear imaging and superior performance. This LWIR infrared module from SensorMicro's MICO series is specifically designed for security and surveillance applications, enabling thermal security systems to detect heat radiation and capture images 24/7 regardless of environmental conditions such as darkness, low light, or strong backlight.

Pseudo color, also called false color, transforms the thermal distribution of objects into visual pictures through the infrared thermal imaging system, displayed on the monitor in grey level or pseudo color. This enables visualization of temperature distribution across objects. To facilitate easier visual analysis of thermal images, false colors representing temperature differences are applied.
