Specifically optimized for handheld terminals and vehicle-borne/portable mobile platforms, the iTL1208 8μm megapixel infrared camera core solves the core pain point of heavy and bulky high-resolution thermal imaging modules. Its 22.6×22.6×34.5mm mini body and 35.7g lightweight design perfectly adapt to the size and load limits of handheld devices and small mobile carriers.
Retaining top imaging performance, it delivers 1280×1024 HD thermal pictures with 30mK high sensitivity to capture on-site subtle heat changes. Flexible lens matching, MIPI high-speed output, RAW/YUV dual data output and simple serial/I2C control greatly simplify structural assembly and program debugging for mobile thermal devices. The preferred core component for portable law enforcement, field rescue, handheld industrial testing and mobile monitoring thermal products.

Pseudo color, also called false color, the thermal distribution of objects can be transformed into visual pictures by the infrared thermal imaging system and displayed on the monitor in grey level or pseudo color. Thus the temperature distribution of objects can be obtained. To make it easier for people to easily analyze a thermal image visually it is represented using a false colors representing the difference in temperature.
