Volatile Organic Compounds, or VOCs, are gases emitted into the air from products or processes. Some VOCs are harmful by themselves, including carcinogens, and they can react with other gases to form additional air pollutants.
The LFM330Z3 is a cooled infrared thermal imaging module specifically designed for gas leakage detection. It integrates a 320x256/30μm MCT cooled MWIR infrared detector and utilizes spectral wavelength filtering technology to visualize invisible VOCs that cannot be seen by the naked eye.

Pseudo color, also called false color, transforms the thermal distribution of objects into visual pictures through the infrared thermal imaging system, displayed on the monitor in grey level or pseudo color. This enables visualization of temperature distribution. False colors representing temperature differences make thermal images easier to analyze visually.
