The iSE612 thermal sensor module is widely used in Industrial Vision, Firefighting and Rescue, Security Surveillance, Outdoor Observation, Machine Vision, Consumer Electronics, and various infrared vision systems.
- High sensitivity and excellent performance with world-leading infrared technology
- Various infrared detectors available in both uncooled and cooled formats with different pixel sizes
- Volume production with three production lines capable of manufacturing millions of detectors annually
Using the principle of infrared radiant thermal effect, the uncooled infrared detector converts infrared radiation energy into heat energy with infrared absorption material, increasing the temperature of the sensitive material. This causes physical parameter changes that convert into electrical or visible light signals through designed conversion mechanisms, enabling object detection.
Uncooled infrared focal plane detectors operate at room temperature without requiring Integrated Dewar Cooler Assembly (IDCA) devices. They offer advantages including fast startup, low power consumption, small size, light weight, long lifespan, and low cost. While sensitivity may not match cooled detectors, their cost-performance ratio has become significantly better over years of development, offering broader application prospects.
