Uncooled N-Driver Series 384x288 / 17μm Infrared Thermal Camera Core for Safe Driving
N-Driver384S vehicle-mounted infrared modules is specially designed for the automotive market. It integrates 384x288@17μm uncooled LWIR detector that is developed by Global Sensor Technology (GST). This infrared cameras can present clear thermal imaging to meet various driving needs at night, severe weather and complex road conditions, so that the driving safety of drivers can be ensured.
Compared with traditional night vision system, N-Driver384S automotive thermal camera provides the automatic brightness contrast and image enhancement algorithm to effectively improves the image detail and the adaptability of the scene. Drivers can see clear image beyond the reach of vehicles' headlights.
It also provides intelligent alarm based on a lot of model trainings and a set of mature AI algorithms to identify pedestrians, cyclists, vehicles and give warning in advance.

The N-driver 384S automotive thermal imaging camera is widely used in Advanced Driver Assistance System.
1. What is MCT/HgCdTe detector?
MCT, also called HgCdTe, refers to Mercury-Cadmium-Tellurid which is a chemical compound of cadmium telluride (CdTe) and mercury telluride (HgTe) and a common material in photodetectors. MCT/ HgCdTe detector is a photoconductive detector that operates at a cryogenic environment and can detect infrared radiation. It is more sensitive than the thermal sensors.
2. What is T2SL detector?
T2SL refers to Type-II Superlattice, which is an artificial material with alternating growth periodic heterojunction at nanometer size. It has high uniformity and superior optical property, such as large electron effective mass,large absorption coefficient and high quantum efficiency. Compared with MCT infrared detector, the T2SL infrared detector has good material uniformity, low cost, and similar performance to MCT infrared detector in medium and long wave band, but has great advantages in very long wave band.
